The apartment is very well located, in the centre of Friedrichshain and in the middle of all other great neighborhoods; Mitte, Kreuzberg and Prenzlauerberg.

Friedrichshain is thé place to be in Berlin these days. It is one of the most lively areas with trendy shops, nice lunchrooms, cosy cafés, funky bars and international restaurants.

Close to the apartment you will find the East-Side-Gallery (the famous part of the Berlin wall that is still standing), de well-known Karl Marx Allee, the popular Boxhagenerplatz with its flee market, the lively Sonntagstrasse and the Simon-Dach Strasse with all the nice terraces, restaurants and bars.

You are also very close to the green waterfront from the Spree-river with the Treptower park (with its huge Soviet-monument), the Badenschiff (floating swimming pool ín the Spree with a beach) and the beautiful Oberbaumbrücke.

Because of Ostkreuz station just around the corner from the apartment, you can easily reach almost any interesting place in this wonderful city.
